Data collection

BopoTaco does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. There is no sign-up, no login and no user account of any kind.

Network use

The app makes no network requests of its own. Lessons, dictionary content and pronunciation audio are bundled with the app and work fully offline. The only exception is the in-app purchase described below, which is handled by Apple.

What is stored on your device

Everything the app records stays on your device: accuracy per symbol and per syllable, the symbol pairs you most often confuse, your lesson and dictionary progress, your practice history and personal bests, your daily goal, and your settings such as sound and haptics.

Deleting the app permanently deletes all of it. You can also clear it at any time from the app's Settings screen — Reset Statistics removes the symbol accuracy data, and Reset Records removes your practice history and personal bests.

Purchases

BopoTaco offers one optional in-app purchase, BopoTaco Pro. Purchases, restores and Family Sharing are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or receive your payment details, and the app stores only whether the unlock is active.

Speech and audio

Pronunciation audio is played from files bundled with the app, with on-device text-to-speech as a fallback. The app never records audio and never requests microphone access.

Children's privacy

BopoTaco is suitable for all ages and carries no advertising. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes any of the above, this page will be updated before that version is released.
